Appearing At The Oddfest

Red Peters

Grammy nominated singer and comedian Red Peters will be hosting the Oddfest this year.

Red is perhaps best known for his songs on The Howard Stern Show like "I Can't Say These Things" and currently hosts The Red Peters Show on SIRIUS Satellite Radio's The Howard Stern Channel. He is also a perennial favorite on The Dr. Demento Show each holiday season with this Chipmunks spoof "Holy Sh*t! It's Christmas!"

Worm Quartet

Worm Quartet is a one-man band from Rochester, NY known for spewing hyperspeed lyrical lunacy over catchy synthesized punk. Worm Quartet is a regular on the legendary Dr. Demento radio show, and had the most requested song of 2004 with the ex-girlfriend ode "Great Idea For A Song" and the second most requested song of 2002 with the anti-drummer rant "Frank's Not In The Band Anymore," as well as collaborating with Sudden Death on the most requested song of 2005, "Inner Voice."

The sole member of Worm Quartet is a 6'4" 300-lb. sweaty bemulleted maniac named Shoebox who is under court order to stay away from chickens. He has also been played on The Bob & Tom Show and XM Comedy, has appeared on CBS's "The Early Show" and VH-1's "Totally Obsessed" (as "The Pac-Man Guy,") and has performed all over the country. Sudden Death

Sudden Death is one of the premiere musical comedy acts on the scene today. Fronted by comedian Tom Rockwell of New Jersey Sudden Death has become one of the most popular artists on the nationally syndicated Dr. Demento Show. Their song "Inner Voice" was the most requested song of 2005.

Sudden Death broke onto the scene in 1998 when "South Park Junkie"- the first song Dr. Demento aired about South park- became the 4th most requested song of the year. Since then Sudden Death has had several number one hits on the show including "Spam," a song about junk emails, and "Ozzman," a backhanded tribute to Ozzy Osbourne.

Sudden Death performs regularly across the country at music clubs, comedy clubs, and science fiction conventions. The live show features Tom Rockwell usually performing solo along with videos and animations synchronized with the music. The show often features costume changes, props, and even puppets. The end result is a hilarious show that goes over very well for a variety of audiences.

In 2005 Sudden Death released a new album called Die Laughing which features the songs mentioned above plus other hilarious original songs and parodies. For more information visit the official Sudden Death web site at www.suddendeath.org.
